Ellen & K.C. Wedding Day Fri 27th July 2018.

Posted by:  /  Tags: ,

This is a wedding that I looked forward to, it being my third to do for Ellen’s family. I was a bit worried about J.C because they would not know my form. I called to Ellen first we had a bit of fun then over to K.C. home it worked out fine especially the spin on the tractor. I called back to the Brides home aagin. The cermony was performedv by my old friend Fr John Cullen it was lovely. The Reception was in the Hudsonn Bay and as usual they do a fine job. I worked on until the beauliful Irish Dancing at the end of the night.

I would like to wish Ellen and K.C. a long and happy life together

Leanne & Alan Wedding Day Fri 25th August 2017

Leanne & Alan were married in the Sacred Heart Church Roscommon. I started with the Groom in the Hotel, then back to the Brides home. I had Leanne dressed up in her uniform on the morning and it was great fun getting the Bridesmaids running her up the stairs to get Leanne ready for her big day.
The ceremony was performed by my old friend Fr John Cullen, he made it so easy for all. The Abbey came up trumps with the meal, we had the Two Willies performing after the meal, they came in dressed up as Guards.
Mark Buckles Band were great, the crowd loved them. I worked on until the Band Finished.
It was great to be with Phillip Stratford photography it was like old times,he is so easy to work with, no hassle.
I did Leanne’s Uncle Tom ans Celia wife’s wedding 25 years ago.

I would like to wish Leanne and Alan a long and happy life together.

Margaret & Stephen’s Wedding Day Sat 26th October 2013

Margaret & Stephen wedding  Saturday  26th October 2013, was in Roscommoon Church and The Athlone Springs Hotel. The is the first wedding I arrived an hour early to go to the Grooms home. I set up in the church because I find in this particular church one needs wheels on the tripod to move along the Alter because the singers are hid behind the pillars. I then called to both houses before the church. Then just before the Ceremony it lashed rain. The ceremony was beautiful, then over to Mote Park for the pictures. The rest of the day went very well.

I would like to wish Margaret and long and happy life together.

Andrea & Sean Wedding Day Friday 1st March 2013

Andrea & Seán Wedding Ceremony was held in the Sacred Heart Church Roscommon on  Friday 1st March last, the day was beautiful. The Coincidence was that The Bride name was Andrea so was the photographer Andrea Duncan and the Grooms name was Seán and the Videeographer  was  Seán . This started us all on a good footing. I never seen a Groom and his Best Men at the church so early 12 noon and the ceremony at 1. The church was beautiful. The Bride arrived with her Dad and the ceremony was performed by Fr. Michael Donnelly a relation on the Bride. This is where I finished as they only wished for the Church Ceremony.I waited until the cars pulled away on the way to the Glasson Hotel and Golf Club. I was speaking to the Bride’s Mother Mary to day and she informed me that everybody enjoyed the day, I have the DVD finished.

I would like to wish Andrea & Seán a long and happy life together.

Evelyn & Simon Wedding Day

Evelyn & Simon Wedding was in Sacred Heart Church  and reception in the Abbey Hotel Roscommon. I had to use two cameras  and the reason for this was that with so many pillars in the church it would be impossible to get the full benefit of the church singing, it was wonderful. We all hit over to the Abbey Hotel and the pictures were taken at the Abbey behind the hotel. The couple were  on for just the first few dances and I recommend that they cover until the tea break they are delighted now. They did not intend to have a video at all, I was speaking to Evelyn after she watched the video and she is delighted that she opted for a video in the end.

I wish Evelyn & Simon a long and happy life together.
