This was an early one, I started with the Garry in the Mc William Park Hotel at 8.30. We had great fun a nice start for the day. Then back to the Bride’s home. I remember well when I was in the Pub Trade Caroline coming to collect her Dad John from work, that was all of twenty years ago. We used to have great crack.
The church cermony was beautiful. The good neighbor supplied a 1948 Austin to bring the Bride to the Hotel. I was very impressed with Breaffy house Hotel, it was something else. I worked on until the throwing of the garter, it was a long enjoyable day.

I started the Day in the Bride’s Home and we had some fun, I had not fare to go the Grooms Home and the crack was ninety, with a big gang in attendance. The Church was Glanamaddy with a nice Priest Fr Mooney carrying out the ceremony. I covered the trip to Castlebar from the roof of the car. The hotel was excellent with a lot of money spent recently/ I worked away until
l the Band finished at 1.

I would like to wish Lelia & Patrick a long and happy life together

Theresa & Kris Wedding day Sun 24th August 2014.

Theresa & Kris Wedding day  Sun 24th August 2014.The wedding was in Aughmore Church and the reception in Breffy House Hotel Castlebar.  I started in the Brides home and then down to the road to follow the Groom and Bestman on the back of a tractor arriving at the church. The ceremony was beautiful. The thing I remember most was the best mans speech at the reception it was one of the best I heard.  I tried to explain that in the old days the best man was the man who had to marry the Bride if the groom did not turn up. The picture was taken in the old Railway Station in Kiltimagh now closed, we also visited the lovely museum in the old goods store at the station.
