Sinead & Sean Wedding Day Sat 9th Sept 2017

Posted by:  /  Tags: , ,

This was wedding that was held in a place called Shinrone Co. Offaly. The Groom Sean was from Creggs, so in order to get the Grooms home it meant calling the night before. We had great fun and he has a lovely family. The day of the wedding at the Church in Shinrone we chatted the people as they arrived, everybody was so relaxed. The Ceremony was performed by a friend of the family Fr Lorcan Kenny. I must say I was very impressed he was so unassuming and had a great way with him.
The Reception was held in the Tullamore Court Hotel, a fine venue. I worked on until 1.30 The Bride and her Mother both performed together, they were magnificent. The photo was taken near Sinéad’d home showing and old mill in the background were they played as children.

I would like to wish Sinéad and Sean a long and happy life together.

Martina & Alan Wedding Day Sat 2nd Sept 2017

The Day started in the Grooms home and this was up near Milltown in Tuam. This meant being on the road early. We had great fun, one good thing about this it relaxes the Groom and the Grooms men. I hit back to the Brides home in Brickens. The Ceremony was performed by an Uncle of the Bride Fr. Jarlath Melvin. The Ceremony was very special, I never seen a church as packed for a wedding in years.
It was great to work with Patsy & Jenny Glynn. They are both so easy to work with. Castlecourt was the Hotel, and they are so professional. I worked on until the Band finished.

I would like to wish Martina & Alan a long and happy life together.

Brenda & Alan Wedding Day

This was wedding that I enjoyed. I go back a long way with the Mc Dermott family, especially the time of the pony drives, Brenda was only a child then, and the whole family enjoyed the horses.
I started in Brenda’s home, and it is just beside the Church, I was back at the house twice, The Ceremony was performed by Fr. Gerry Hanley who I have known since our school days in Sligo. Alan was in great form and the day went great. The wedding reception was in the Radisson in Sligo, the band was Busy Fingers and they kept everyone on the floor.

I would like to wish Brenda and Alan a long and happy life together.
