Triona & Brendan

This was a wedding I certainly had something in common with the Groom Brendan. He was in a car accident the week before the wedding, I had an accident the week of the wedding. I think of the song “Nothing going to stop us now” thank God both of us turned up.
The day went great, this is my second wedding for Brendan’s family, last year Marita and David. I started with Triona and then back to Brendan’s home. The reception was in Castledargan and I worked on until 2pm. I was delighted the day went so well for Triona and David.

I would like to wish Triona and David a long and happy life together.

Aoife & Mark Wedding Day Sat 6th May 2017

I never seen the weather as good, especially to see the sun out for two days in a row. I had an early start I was at the Grooms home at nine in the morning. The best laugh of all was I put some tomato sauce on the groom make out he got cut from shaving, when the flower girl seen him she got a terrible fright she thought that Mark had his throat cut. I hit down to Ballaghaderreen to Aoife’s home and a bride I never seen more relaxed. Patricia did the flowers in the church really beautiful. Annete Griffin did the singing. We hit of to Lough Rynn and the photos in the gardens were magnificent.
The meal was lovely, the entertainment was by Mike Denver, what I liked most he played music to suit all generations, the floor was full all night. I worked on until 1.30.

I would like to wish Aoife & Mark a long and happy life together.

Julie & Conor Wedding Day, Friday 5th May 2017.

I was so looking forward to this wedding and it was a great wedding with nothing spared. I was up in Conor’s home the evening before. We had great fun, and we did like if it was the morning of the wedding. The hospitality was magnificent.
The morning before the wedding I called to Julie’s home, and Clare and Michael put some effort their home having it like a palace, for this very special day, even the turf was so neat you would be afraid to burn it. Julie and the bridal party called over to Clonalis house for a few photographs before going to the church.
Shane my son was operating another video camera to make sure we missed nothing. The day was magnificent with the sun breaking the stone. Fr. Micheal Donnelly performed the ceremony with Fr. John; and good friend of the family Fr. Kevin.
We got away as quickly as possible to Galway Salthill Hotel. The meal was lovely the band was great, I worked on until 1pm.

I would like to wish Julie & Conor a long and happy life together.
