Michele & Mark Wedding Day Tue 31st Dec 2013 The Wedding Ceremony was in St. Patrick’s Church in Carrick-on -Shannon and the Reception in the Landmark Hotel. I started in the Bride’s home and everybody looked so well. When I went back to the church to meet the Groom  Mark  Garda Michael Gallagher was on duty outside the church and I got him to present a set of handcuffs to the Best Man so he could make out that he was arresting  the groom to bring him ino the Church. The Church ceremony was beautiful the couple requested two cameras so my son Shane operated the other one. Then back to the Landmark Hotel and Trish one of the best managers I came across was on duty.  Everything went well and I remained on until 1 to make sure the new year was brought in.

I would like to wish Michele and Mark a long and Happy Life together

Aoife  & Keith Wedding Day Sunday 29th December 2013. The Wedding Ceremony was in Fairymount Church and the reception in The Abbey Hotel Roscommon. I was not able to cover this wedding because I was already booked, so Maurice Sirr did the needful. I will do the editing, Maurice started in the Bride’s home, and the Ceremony was not until 2.30 so it was getting dark when he reached the hotel, I was speaking to him this morning and he said the day went very well. I was at Aoife’s parents wedding  back in 1978.

I would like to wish Aoife and Keith a long and happy life together.

Eibhlin & Derek Wedding Day Sun 29th December 2013. The Day started for me at the Grooms home at 9 in the morning, we had great fun and before we left the Groom had his gun out to shoot a few metal ducks, I then went back to the Bride’s home and we had great fun where the Bride brought the Bridesmaids for a spin on her Fathers Tractor. I set up in the Church and then back to the Bride’s home to get her in the dress as she descended down the stairs to be greeted by her Parents  Mary and John. When I arrived at the wedding I remembered I was a guest at the Groom’s Father and Mothers wedding back in 1977. The weather was not good but it did not damper the 420 guests who attended the wedding.  Then we hit away to Kilronan Castle the picture enclosed shows the Eibhlin  and Derek with their 3 dogs in their home before driving away to the Reception. I worked until 12.30 it was a long day, but enjoyable.

I Would Like to Wish Eibhlin  and Derek a long and  Happy Life together.

Ballintubber Christmas Market

Today in Ballintubber Co. Roscommon
The picture shows Santa Clause before he goes to meet the children of Ballintubber and district. It was a great turn out, we thought that the day was ruined because the morning was so bad. We are making a video of this and other activities around Ballintubber which we hope will be out before the Christmas. It was Pat Garvey’s idea and we wish him a speedy recovery because he ended up in hospital, we are glad that he is getting better.

This was a great turn out to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Special Olympics The picture shows Ann Brennan saying her piece at the function to day, she really impressed me having recently passed her driving test. Ann also gave a speech second to none and brought down the house. St. Michael s looked fantastic.
