Fr Padraig Devine Silver Jubilee Sunday 21st July 2013. This was a very special ocassion for F Padraig and especially the village of Frenchpark, people turned out in their hundreds to celebrate this very special day in the village and the local Cardinal came all the way from Nigeria to celebrate this day. The locals put on a big party in the hall, and this continued for the afternoon with more speeches.

Dympna & Padraig Wedding Day Sat 13th July 2013

Dympna & Padraig Wedding Day Sat 13th July 2013. The day started in Horans Restaurant in Roscommon where I got a shot of the Groom and the Best Men having Breakfast, we had great fun with the Best man feeding the Groom, when I come to the editing I will have to put in a few bleeps for this one. Then back to the Bride and Grooms home and all Dympnas family were in the house.

I then met the Groom at the Church, it was Patrick Feeney who sang especially Dympna’s brother John song” you will walk down the aisle with me”. This was my second day in the Castle the difference was that a gentleman suggested to the Bride and and Groom hide a coin in the Castle and come back the same day in twenty years time to see if it is still around.

Then away to the Abbey Hotel and as usual a great meal served up, the grounds also are very beautiful.

I would like to wish Dympna and Padraig a long and happy life together.

Caroline & James Wedding Day Fri 12th July 2013.  My day started in the Grooms home in Balla, we had great fun and it took the worry out of the day For the Groom, then back to the Brides home and I never seen as many signs on the road wishing the happy couple every happiness.  The ceremony itself was in Castlecoote Church and the Priest told everybody to turn of the mobile and my mobile went off during the ceremony. The Priest thanked the mobile video man at the end of the ceremony. Then back to the Castle in Roscommon for the pictures, I was with Iven Keaney a gentlman to work with. Then back to the Abbey Hotel and I must say the finest hotel I go to and the meals are always the best.

I would like to wish Caroline and James  a long and happy life together.

The Wedding Ceremony of Hillary and David Sat 6th July 2013

The Wedding Ceremony of Hillary and David sat 6th July 2013  was in St. Patrick’s Church Ballyhaunis and the reception in Knockcranny House Westport. I started in the Bride’s home were the highlight of the morning was the arrival of the nieces and nephews. Then back to the church for the arrival of the groom David. The wedding ceremony was magnificent and the choir was the highlight and we recorded this on a separate source. This will be put on a cd where it will be possible to play the music of Hillary and Brian’s wedding on its own.

I would like to wish Hillary and Brian a long and happy life together.

Cara-íosa & Tom Wedding Day Fri 5th July 2013

Cara-íosa & Tom Wedding Day Fri 5th July 2013 was in St. Mary’s Church and Hotel Westport, it was a magnificent day and we started in the Bride’s home then back to the church to get Tom the groom arriving. The Bride lives a stones throw from the hotel , but we did a tour of the town and I recorded it from the roof of my car. Westport was packed and the people were waving all directions. The food in Hotel Westport is the very best and Head Chef Stephen Fitzmaurice is  the best in Ireland.

I would like to wish Cara-íosa and Tom a long and happy life together.

Dunmore Musical Society Presents Grease

Posted by:

This is our 10th year recording for Dunmore Musical Society. The show this year was  produced  by Joan Macdonnell  it was a great success. We had to record the first night because of commitment to wedding on Friday and sat, the first night was packed so it left little room for our two cameras. The editing is going on at the moment and we are very thankful to Mick Dervan Sound Loughrea  for giving us a direct link into the sound system.

New Camera

Posted by:

The Picture above was taken at a wedding recently one of the first days that I was out with the new Camera below I have included a bit about it.

If you are hiring Sean Browne for your wedding this year then you certainly are getting the very best in picture quality. Sean is delighted to announce the purchase of a new Panasonic High Definition Video Camera which gives true broadcast quality to his wedding films.
Many videographers state that they use ‘broadcast quality’ cameras but in truth, very little actually do. Most European broadcasters follow the BBC’s guidelines in relation to approved cameras and they set a benchmark of 4:2:2 colour space recording at the minimum 50Mbps. Now this is techno jargon and means little to most but knowing that Sean’s new camera meets this criteria and would be acceptable in quality for national broadcast on both the BBC and RTE gives a clear indication that couples getting married and hiring Sean for the big day will receive picture quality second to none amongst Irish videographers.http://www.seanbrownevideo.ie/?p=939
