Janice & Stephen Wedding Day

Posted by:  /  Tags: , ,

Janice & Stephens Wedding was in Glanamaddy Church and the Mc William Park Hotel Claremorris . The sermon was given by Fr. Paddy Mooney and sure enough he is well able to give a good sermon. We stopped in Diffley’s Pub for a beverage on the way. The band was Busy Fingers, one band I seem to meet a lot at weddings.

I wish Janice & Stephen a long and happy life together.

Sinead & Tom Wedding –

Sinead & Tom had a great day with such a large family in the Brogan’s. We stopped at their beautiful home in the village of Laragh beside old Ballymoe Railway Station. Danny Burke uncle of the groom did a magnificent job on the interviews in the Landmark hotel. I love doing Wedding in the a Landmark Hotel especially with Trish she is one of the best in the Hotel business to work with. The Landmark is lucky to have her.

I Wish Sinead & Tom a long and happy life together.

Martina & David

Martina & David  Wedding Ceremony was in Kilmurray Church and the reception The Abbey Hotel Roscommon.  Dave the groom  stayed at the hotel and we captured  Anthony the piper calling him with a tune from the bag pipes. We were lucky we had no complaints as he played his way along the corridor of  the hotel  Then out to the bride residence as she fed al 74 chickens before getting ready.  At  the hotel no top table I thought a nice idea to help the nerves before the speeches. I wish Martina and David every happiness, this is my 4th wedding to record for the Mannion family.

I wish Martina & David a long and happy life  together.

Marie & Pat

The Wedding Ceremony was in Ballyforan Church, and the Reception was in the Shearwater Hotel Ballinasloe. The day started in Pat’s home in Kilteevan at 11 pm his home was full of activity. At the wedding reception my first experience of meeting the opera waiters at the meal, it went down a treat. It was a pleasure working with Corin Bishop from Athlone. I remember driving in home when Mid West Radio were commemorating the sinking of the Titanic at 2.20 am. A long and enjoyable day, all 300 guests had a day to remember.

I wish Marie & Pat a long and happy life together.
